Optus to open the Android floodgates?

I just been hit up with some info that would confirm both the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 & HTC Legend will be landing at Optus in the near future.

Apparently Motorola will also be sending a few phones Optus’ way, the connect mentioned two devices running Moto BLUR will come out later on in the year, and possibly the Milestone.

This would make sense, seeing at Optus is now allowing Paid Apps & Motorola is hosting a Launch event on Tuesday.

Thanks to our connect, who wishes to remain anonymous. 🙂

Was speaking with my local Optus kid just yesterday morning who confirmed they’ll have the Xperia X10 in a month – might have been pure sales-pitch, though, as I was there to ask how long until I can ‘out’ from my damn iPhone 😉

Wow, no milestone.

I’m thankful i didn’t wait till it came to Australia, because that is looking like a never now…
