Ausdroid

Here at Ausdroid, we don’t condone the purchasing of resistive-screened devices, but it has become apparent to us that some of you just don’t care about the screen technology and just want a cheap smartphone. So to honor this, we present to you the LG Optimus hitting the low price of $199 on Vodafone Prepaid. If you recharge $30 on Vodafone Prepaid you will receive 3,000 SMS to any GSM mobiles, 250MB of data, $100 voda-to-voda credit & $30 credit for everything else. Not too bad if you ask me, take note Telstra.

      • tomascivinod

res is good! most in that price range are qvga breaking compatibility with so many older apps.

I have a Nokia N97 mini with the aforementioned RESISTIVE screen. Urgh.
I’m changing to capacitive definitely for my next phone.

optimus has resistive touch, but surprisingly responsive. Not bad for price… but it is LG… Can’t say they’ve had a lot of success with whole touch screen thing. :-)
