Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro hits the FCC sporting 900/2100MHz 3G

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro has just made its way through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US sporting UMTS bands 1 and 8, or 2100MHz and 900MHz. Although what passes through the FCC in the US has little/no meaning to what comes into Australia, it’s interesting to see what versions of the Xperia Mini Pro are surfacing for consumer sale. Since there’s currently no 850MHz version and we know the new Xperia Minis are coming to Australia, by process of elimination we can say they’ll launch on either Optus or Vodafone; better yet, a combination of both. Gallery of the Xperia Mini Pro passing through the FCC, below — it looks really chubby!
