Ice Cream Sandwich will have native Screen Shot capabilities

Although Samsung, HTC and selected Motorola phones have had a native screen capture capability for some time, it’s not something that Android has done natively until now. Unlike the current Nexus range require root access and external/3rd party application (often at a cost) but will not be the case in Ice Cream Sandwich.

Almost certainly one of the last little information leaks prior to tomorrow’s announcement, we’re getting information suggesting that screen capture is now a part of the core functions in the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich. During tomorrow’s stream, Daniel and I will both be online and will bring you the highlights in as close to real-time as we can through posts on Ausdroid and our personal twitter feeds.
