HTC are running a fun ‘hunt-and-find’ game in 7 Australian cities over the next 2 weeks where you have the chance to win a HTC Velocity 4G for as little as $4! There’s one Velocity available in each city for the first and fastest person to find the HTC Velocity 4G street team member and hand over four gold coins, that’s $1 or $2 coins. Winners will receive their HTC Velocity 4G on the spot.

From the HTC Press Release:
The team will be in a CBD location and will provide hints online at www.firstandfastest.com. Once the game begins at the given time, a map will appear and start to slowly zoom in to pinpoint the team member’s location. Sharing through Facebook or Twitter helps to speed up the zoom process, so the more shares that appear on social media, the sooner the pinpoint location is revealed.

The HTC street team will be hitting CBD locations in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle, Gosford, Adelaide and Perth between February 13 and 24.
Brisbane – Feb 13, 10am
Sydney – Feb 15, 12pm
Melbourne – Feb 17, 11am
Newcastle – Feb 20, 10am
Gosford – Feb 21, 10am
Adelaide – Feb 23, 10am
Perth – Feb 24, 10am

Head to www.firstandfastest.com to follow all the action from a mobile device and for details, date and start times for each city. Good luck, I know the Ausdroid team will be following this one and hoping to pick up a Velocity.

Oh what a great competition, if you live in the fecking CBD…what about everyone else? HTC Australia need a new marketing department…

Why would they market this phone in the country where 4G isn’t available? There’s no logic there.

  • *Sigh*

    Canberra never counts…. *sigh*

Kind of sad considering we do have ’4G’ coverage here, and we are the nation’s capital…

Shouldn’t be too hard in Adelaide, you could run around the whole city twice in a lunch break lols

Why am I still so surprised to see that yet again, Tassie is left off the map.
