HTC One X render shows a possible release date of April 2nd in Sydney

I was just browsing the HTC Australia website when I noticed the date and location on the HTC One X was different to that of the other devices. It says “Mon, Apr 2 – Sydney” — after taking a look at the trusty ol’ calendar, the 2nd of April is indeed a Monday. Will we see the HTC One X launching on that date? Quite possibly, yes. What carrier will it be launching on? Our bets are on Optus, as they’ve been giving a few hints and teases over the past few days.

Despite having some nice features, a measly 1800mAh non-removeable battery, no card slot and limited media codec support make this one I won’t be considering.

  • Virgin now have the One X on their website, saying to check back early April for updates. $0 on Fair Go 59.

  • All the HTC phones I have, had the release date as the date on the phone.
