Daily App Sales Roundup – 05-08-2012

I started playing around with an app last night on my Nexus 7 called iQuarium, I kinda like fish and this gives you a fish tank to keep in your pocket or on your tablet. It’s a freemium based app and they supply you with the basics to start off your tank including a fish, some gravel and a plant and you can then either wait for a while and get a freebie like rocks, more plants or other things or you can purchase credits you can exchange for the extras. I’ve just been letting it roll along and give me stuff as I go, but it looks quite nice sitting there whilst I work just as an aquarium. It works on all my devices but I just tried it out on my tablet so check it out.

The other game you should check out is Agent Dash it’s in the same vein as Temple Run as in it’s a running game, except in this variant you run, slide, jump, parachute and jetpack all the while picking up gems which can be used to purchase more guns or other spy upgrades to get you through the levels. Again this is a freemium game, free to download and install but gives you the option to pay to get upgrades but it’s not terribly hard to get through and have heaps of fun without the in-game purchases.
Who is Agent Dash?

What do you think, keep adding any YouTube videos to the bottom of the app recommendations? I think it looks pretty good. Let me know what you think, new layout seems to be running pretty smooth except a couple of complaints, but so far the likes are ahead of the dislikes so it’s staying as is unless I see a massive uproar. Thanks for stopping by and remember if you know of a good app you’d like to share or see an app on sale that you feel is a good deal, let me know by tweeting me or emailing me
