Daily App Sales Roundup – 06-08-2012

Twitpic has just released their Android app. I’ve been staunchly using this service since I started on Twitter and it now contains almost 500 random shots from the last 3.5 years I’ve been using Twitter. The app allows you to view and share all your photos and videos stored in Twitpic as well as edit, enhance and apply filters(WHY!?!?) to your Twitpics and you can browse photos from people who also use Twitpic. Have a look it’ll never be an Instagram but it’s not a bad app.

I found a decent little note taking widget called JOT! – Notes Widget it is a really simple concept, a 1×1 widget sits on your home screen and pops up a basic text box, you can then choose to export your note by pressing the menu button which brings up the Share functionality so you can share it to anything really, Evernote, Twitter, Email etc. Just a handy little app and it’s FREE!

Next is a platformer called MEGATROID it’s a fun little platform game which I started playing yesterday afternoon and am quite enjoying. It’s a Freemium title so it’s free but options for in-app purchase to update your weapons and armour exist so you could possibly complete the game a little easier but it’s a lot more fun playing without the extras IMHO. Graphics wise it looks pretty decent so give it a go.

If you know of a good app you’d like to share or see an app on sale that you feel is a good deal, let me know by tweeting me or emailing me
