Daily App Sales Roundup – 21-08-12

If you know me, you know I’m semi-obsessed with a Swedish company called Ikea and they’ve just updated their Ikea Catalogue app in the Google Play Store with their 2013 range. As well as the 2013 catalogue, the app also has an additional feature this year which allows you to scan selected pages from the catalogue to unlock more information, products, ideas, images, films, and 3D models. You can browse the catalogue from the Ikea website. Oh and if you visit the stores, you have to try the Meatballs with Gravy, Mashed Potato and Lingonberry jam, I tried it last visit and it’s amazing.

A reminder that the Humble Bundle for Android 3 is still going. They’re offering 5 games : Fieldrunners, BIT.TRIP BEAT, SpaceChem and Uplink but as with all Humble Bundles though you have to pay above the average price which at the moment stands at $6.13 to get all 5 games, the fifth is Spirits, as a bonus, when you pay above the average price you get these games on Windows, Mac and Linux and the official soundtrack for each game.

When you pay you’re given the choice of supporting 1 of 2 charities either the Childs Play Charity or the Electronic Frontier Foundation both worthy causes or you can support the Devs who make the games or split your payment between the three, so head on over to the Humble Bundle Website and check it out.

If you know of a good app you’d like to share or see an app on sale that you feel is a good deal, let me know by tweeting me or emailing me
