Daily App Sales Roundup – 03-05-13

Fight Fans, it appears that the UFC actually released a UFC App for Android at long last, well back in February anyway. The UFC.TV app is available for free in Google Play.

The app requires you to set up an account which also includes requesting your credit card details, no in-App purchase via Google Play for Zuffa apparently. PPV Fights like UFC 160 are charged at $44.95AUD while individual fights either upcoming or previous can be purchased for $9.99AUD each. The app offers free live streams of Press Conferences and Weigh-ins as well. Fighter profiles of your favorite UFC fighters are included but are incredibly limited. There is also a News and TV Schedule as well.

The app is free but is obviously full of pay per play content and quite frankly isn’t that great. It’s available for Android devices running Donut(1.6) and above and inital app download is 1.5MB although with streaming video you will definitely need a Wi-Fi connection or a generous 3G data cap.

Found a good deal on an app you’d like to share? Are you an Australian developer with an app you would like reviewed? Or have you found a most expensive app on the Play Store? Let me know! You can tweet me or email me.
