Google Now coming to ChromeOS

Screenshot 2013-06-30 at 10.11.21 AM
Loading up the Chromebook this morning I was pleasantly surprised to see the above notification. I run the Chromebook Pixel on the Developer channel and the CR48 on the Beta channel, so far the notification has not shown up on the CR48, so it appears that Google Now has just been integrated into the Developer channel.

I’ve clicked Yes and await further developments, the Google Now flag has been enabled as well via chrome://flags/.

If you’re running the Developer Channel on your Chromebook check it out and see if you’ve got the notification.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
