Dev channel update for ChromeOS

ChromeOS
A selective release this time, all devices on the Dev Channel, except the Chromebook Pixel, Samsung Chromebook Series 5 550 and Samsung Chromebox will receive an update to 30.0.1573.6 (platform version: 4443.3.0/4443.4.0 for cr-48). The update will fix several issues including :

  • Video glitches on on certain Flash sites. Workaround: Move cursor away from playing window reduces the glitches (263154).
  • Audio flaky when audio is playing on youtube and google voice search is used (263549).
  • Bluetooth: Cannot connect A2DP audio devices (262227).

Strangely, the Chrome Device release page maintained by Francois Beaufort, lists the Lenovo X131e as remaining on 29.0.1547.23 like the other devices.

As usual if there are any issues with any of the updates or releases report them by filing a bug report, which you can do here.

To ensure your device is up to date, open your browser and go to the Chrome Menu > Settings > Click Help > Click ‘More Info’ and then wait for the all clear that you’re up to date.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
