The Offdroid Podcast – Episode 1, The Twelfth Doctor

offdroid-header

This is Ausdroid’s off-topic podcast, Offdroid! It’s an irregular series in which members of the Ausdroid team and friends will discuss anything but Android.

The Doctor Who Episode

The world is waiting to hear who’s going to play the next incarnation of The Doctor. It’s Sunday August 4th, and we’re just half a day away from the big reveal. This is the time where the British press goes mad with speculation and the rumours this year don’t disappoint. We spent a little while talking about our Doctor Who fan qualifications and favourite Doctors, moments and episodes before going for a rundown on some of the names who’ve been rumoured – and some that haven’t.

We had a good deal of fun making the show, and hope you enjoy listening to it! We’d especially like to thank TechGeek‘s Terence Huynh for joining us!

Featuring: Jason Murray and Alex Dennis, Adam Ricket with Terence Huynh.

Jason Murray   Deputy Editor

Before discovering the Nexus One, Jason thought he didn't need a smartphone. Now he can't bear to be without his Android phone. Jason hails from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane depending on his mood and how detailed a history you'd like. A web developer by day with an interest in consumer gadgets and electronics, he also enjoys reading comics and has a worryingly large collection of Transformers figures. He'd like to think he's a gamer, but his Wii has been in a box since he moved to Sydney, and his PlayStation Vita collection is quite lacking. Most mornings you'll find him tilting at various windmills on Twitter - follow @JM77 and say hi!
