Daily App Sales Roundup – 18-03-14

Amazon has been running their Android App Store for longer than Google Play has been named Google Play. While Google Play has just celebrated their 2nd Birthday, the Amazon App Store is celebrating their 3rd birthday and to celebrate they’re having a bit of a sale, not Google Play 10c/20c/50c apps sale, sale, but up to 60% off games as well as discounts on in-app purchases.

This week, Appstore customers will find great discounts on some of the most popular titles in the store. Available today, you can find deals of up to 60% off on apps plus amazing promotions on in-app items for titles including Wheel of Fortune from Sony Pictures, Terraria from 505 Games and Warner Bros.’ Batman: Arkham City Lockdown. As an added bonus, for a limited time, customers who buy in-app items within select titles including Asphalt 8, Animal Voyage, Kingdoms of Camelot, The Hobbit, Sonic Dash, World at Arms and Despicable Me: Minion Rush will receive 50% back on the purchase price in the form of Amazon Coins. Customers can expect to see deals and FAD’s celebrating Amazon Appstore’s 3rd birthday running throughout the next 2 weeks.

Unlike Google Play, Amazon hasn’t put up a page where you can find all the Apps in one place. Head over to Amazon’s App Store to grab a bargain, but remember you’ll have to have an Amazon account and also have the Amazon App Store side-loaded onto your device.

Found a good deal on an app you’d like to share? Are you an Australian developer with an app you would like reviewed? Or have you found a most expensive app on the Play Store? Let me know! You can tweet me or email me.

Piano Companion: chords, scales, chord progression, circle of 5ths
Piano Companion is a flexible chord/scale dictionary with user libraries and reverse mode. Piano Companion allows you to find a chord or scale by its name. If you don’t remember what’s the name of a chord/scale, it helps you to find it by keys. Piano Companion shows chord/scale notes, degrees, fingering for both hands in major and minor scales. You can listen how a scale or chord sounds. You can see the list of compatible chords in the selected scale.
