The Galaxy S5 Zoom is real and showing off for blurry-cam

Galaxy S5 Zoom
The Galaxy S5 Zoom is definitely real, with the first picture of the camera-phone showing up overnight. The phone looks like a slightly modified iteration of the S4 Zoom, taking some design stylings from the faux-leather backed Note 3 instead of the new square hatched design on the back of the Galaxy S5.

We’re no closer to actual launch of the Galaxy S5 Zoom, but previous reports on the S5 Zoom, have rumoured it will first and foremost come with a 19MP sensor and have a 720P Screen, although what size screen hasn’t been determined yet.

There will be a Samsung Exynos Hexa Core Processor clocked at 1.3GHz under the hood. The Exynos Hexa Core processor will operate on the BIGlittle ARM architecture pairing two Cortex A-15 cores as well as four lower powered Cortex-A7 cores. There will be 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage included, although only 9GB will be available for use (7GB of Nature UX) but you should expect a microSD card slot will be included, as it was in the S4 Zoom.

Hands up if you’re excited for a Galaxy S5?

About Daniel Tyson

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-t0-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress and IFA.

720p screen = zero percent excitement and interest in the device.

Did we need to know that ? So you are not interested, some thoughts we keep to ourselves. Heading back to negative Jeni

I’m still on my Huawei Ideos from 2010… waiting for a phone with a decent camera, not just better than the Ideos but better than my Canon not-so-compact camera from 2006. When the S5 Zoom is released, there should be a window of opportunity to get an S4 Zoom on clearance 🙂
