JB are offering the Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 10” Android tablet for $288. The tablet, which sports decent specs for an entry level tablet, is the follow on from Lenovo’s Yoga tablets which launched last year.

The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 10″ tablet specs include:

  • 10.1″ IPS screen (1280 x 800)
  • 1.2GHz Quad Core MT 8125
  • 1GB Ram
  • 16GB/32GB internal storage which is expandable to 32GB via MicroSD Card
  • 5.0 MP rear camera, 0.3 M front camera
  • WiFi (WLAN 802.11b/g/n)
  • Bluetooth® 4.0
  • Android 4.2 JellyBean
  • 6350mAh Battery
  • Dimensions: 260mm(W) x 180mm(H) x 8.6mm(T)
  • Weight: 560 g

With Mother’s day fast approaching, it would be a worthy consideration for purchasing as an introductory Android for anyone, including our mothers. It would seem JB Hi-Fi have exclusive rights to sell the device, as it seems other retailers didn’t have them available on their websites.

The Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 10″ Android tablet is available from your local JB H-Fi store or online.
