Motorola Moto devices updating with new World Cup inspired boot animation

Motorola
Motorola has been liberating their services into Google Play for a while now, they’ve even moved their Boot Services into the Play store, which of course means they can do fairly cool stuff, like update your Boot Animation on a whim, and that’s just what they’ve done this morning with a World Cup inspired boot animation.

The update was announced on the Motorola Google+ page. The app was updated in Google Play and my Moto X has just finished updating, while Jason reports that his Moto G from the UK has finished updating with the new animation as well, we also expect if we had a Moto E, that it would update as well.

We’ve uploaded the boot animation video to Youtube so you can have a look :

The app was not found in the store. 🙁

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
