Samsung Galaxy S5 beginning to receive Android 5.0 update…in Poland

samsung-galaxy-s5-header
It seems that living in Poland is a great idea if you own an Android phone from a major OEM, with Samsung joining LG in pushing out their Android 5.0 update to owners of the the Galaxy S5 there.

Build G900FXXU1BNL2 is now hitting the SM-G900F model of the Galaxy S5, but other models are sure to see it soon enough. So far the latest software update status from the three major carriers – Vodafone, Telstra and Optus – make no mention of even testing the Android 5.0 update for the Galaxy S5, with the Android 4.4.4 update apparently the current update in testing.

We should see something soon, but in the meantime, SamMobile recently did a hands-on with a fairly ‘final’ build of Android 5.0 on the Galaxy S5, so if you want to know what to expect you can check it out here :

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
