Android 5.0.1 factory images for Nexus 4, 5 and 6 added to developers page

Google-Developers
Google has updated the Nexus Factory Images page today with factory images for the Nexus 4, 5 and 6. The OTA update for the Nexus 5 has already been captured and added to our previous post, so owners can flash the file. But for those wanting to flash the image, you can now do so by downloading the image from the official source.

The tables below provide direct links to Google and the MD5/SHA-1 Checksums to ensure your file is complete and ready to flash.

If you’re a developer though, you can also find the Android 5.0.1 binaries for the Nexus 4, 5 and 6 on the Binaries page of the Developers site too. We’re still missing any kind of Android 5.0(Lollipop) update for the Nexus 7 (2012) and (2013) mobile versions, though the Wi-Fi models received their updates previously.

Nexus 4 image actually appeared on weekend. I’ve already installed it. It runs great, just what you expect from a Google phon. Still can’t believe that I only paid $159 for a refurbished (actually brand new) unit recently when Expansys had a add special.

@Darren… Just install the zip OTA update for your phone using a manual method.

Does anyone know if Telstra is blocking this?

As long as you did the Sim card swap to trigger the 5.0 download, then the 5.0.1 should download without needing to do the swap again. My 5.0.1 update just came through and I’m on the Tesltra network.

Has it been revealed whats been fixed in 5.0.1 yet? As much as i love lollipop changes, i’ve had a number of “memory” issues I upgraded to 5.0.
