Google Play Deal of the Week has been updated with new $0.20 deals

It’s that time of the week where we all gather around and find out what deals Google has arranged for us on Google Play and there’s a new deal of the week in the Apps and Games categories as usual dropped to just $0.20 each.

This week we have an old favourite in the ‘App’ Deal of the Week, with The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle dropped in price and one for the rev heads with Colin McRae Rally dropped in price as well.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar is more an app than the beloved story book with all of Eric Carle’s characters from other stories appearing in this app which is designed to be a fun and educational experience for your child. The app includes games, as well as animations that brings characters to life in Carle’s distinctive watercolour style.

The app does contain some in-app purchases ranging in price from $0.99 – $2.99 per item, so there is that. Otherwise dropping in price from US$1.13 to just $0.20 makes this a bargain

If you haven’t played Colin McRae Rally at the arcade then you’re missing out, but you can make up for it by playing one of the best rally driving simulations around on Android. The only down side to this game is a lack of Android TV support that would simply make this game.

Driving top rally cars such as the Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI, Lancia Stratos and Colin McRae’s Ford Focus you can race around tracks in Corsica, Greece and of course Australia. The game is ultra-realistic but does appear to have some control issues based on some of the reviews – but dropping from US$2.49 to just $0.20 it’s a steal.
