Google adds templates to Sheets, Docs and Slides for mobile devices

Docs - Slides - Sheets
Google is adding an often requested feature to their Android and iOS mobile apps, announcing that Docs, Slides and Sheets will now get Templates.

Google added Templates to Slides, Docs and Sheets to the web interface back in September, but now they’re going mobile. The same templates available on the Web will be available in the mobile apps, including ‘a meeting agenda, pitch deck, expense report, and more.

To open a new template in any of the apps, just hit the Floating Action button at the bottom of the screen and select ‘Choose Template’ and then select one from the list available.

The update is rolling out now, with Google aiming to have it out in around three days. There are places to find at least one APK to sideload though if you’re that keen on getting a template in your apps.
