The Google Play app and game deal of the week has been going for some months now. We’ve all had a great time and of course, as it’s Wednesday there’s some more deals. This week Enhanced SMS & Caller ID+ gets discounted, and in games it’s not one game, but three with the Lifeline collection discounted.
Enhanced SMS & Caller ID+
Enhanced SMS & Caller ID is an app which promises to give you voice alerts for SMS, Email or essentially any notification that arrives in your notification bar.
The app promises to be quite customisable, and will work with both wired, wireless and Bluetooth in-dash stereo systems, to read out your notifications as they arrive. It also allows you to reply to email or SMS messages with your voice.
The app looks pretty decent and if you’ve ever used Motorola’s Moto Assist, you’ll be familiar with and love these features. It’s definitely worth your 20c. You can grab it now from Google Play.
This was such a good deal when it appeared we had to feature it on its own, but if you missed out, the text based adventure series Lifeline isn’t one to miss out on.
The Lifeline series is written by acclaimed author Dave Justus, the writer behind titles like The Wolf Among Us. There’s three titles in the series: Lifeline, Lifeline 2 and Lifeline: Silent Night. The games play out in real-time, with you interacting with a character from the story to achieve a goal. In Lifeline, it’s to rescue a crew of stranded astronauts, in Lifeline 2 you’re helping Arika avenge her parents and rescue her brother and in Lifeline: Silent Night you’re back helping Taylor.
It’s immersive and fantastic, playing out the way it does will have you reaching for your phone multiple times a day just to find out what’s happening.
If you find the concept of Lifeline awesome, you’ll basically want all of them. Grab them now from Google Play.
This week, our recommendation is to grab the Lifeline Collection – all three of them. They. Are. Awesome.
Also, AVP: Evolution and Weather 14 days Ad Free from last week are both still 20c each so grab them if you missed them.
