YouTube at VidCon brings a host of new features for creators

VidCon proves that the online content creation community is strong, very strong and now YouTube are giving creators a lot more power and support to produce their art.

The newly designed creator hub is the central place or “dashboard” where creators will get all of their resources and information that is required to assist them in creating content and increasing their subscriptions. There’s also some extra support for users who are on the partner program with support available via email where a real person will answer in an acceptable timeline.

YouTube for creators has been introduced as a tiered rewards program similar to local guides and has a growing list of benefits as your viewers increase.

Comment Controls have been improved to allow users to give the ability to moderate comments to other users which reduces the pressure on individuals to keep an eye on the comments in their channel.

What would you like to see available to video creators to improve your viewing?
