The Huawei P9 is now available in Australia with both Optus and Vodafone kicking off their offerings with a bonus Huawei Watch, Telstra however has decided to just release the phone at this stage, with no deals showing on the P9 landing page.

The Telstra plans for the Titanium Grey coloured Huawei P9 start at $70 per month for the ‘small’ plan which includes $550 of talk credits as well as unlimited national SMS, MMS and Messagebank and of course 1GB of mobile data. You can customise your plan with an extra 1GB of data for $10 with additional data packs across all their range if required – or just go to a higher plan for more standard included data. The rest of the plans for the P9 look like this:

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
