Google launches an Android Tips and Tricks site, just for you

Android tips and tricks

Do you want to get the most out of your Android Device? Chances are if you’re reading Ausdroid you’re already way ahead of the curve on knowing how to bend Android to your every will. However, we can’t all know every trick and that’s where Google’s new ‘Tips and Tricks‘ mini site might just come in handy. The Android-specific tips seemed to have been pulled from the larger Google products tips page.

The site seems to have been launched today, offering Android users new and old, novice to expert a few helpful tips and tricks to get the most out of their devices. As the resident Android “helper” for my family, friends and work colleagues I’m going to be giving this address out regularly.

The site covers multiple facets of Android including:

  • Privacy and Security
  • Voice (interaction)
  • Camera and Photo
  • Battery
  • Customisation
  • Apps and
  • Settings

With the multitude of Android devices on the market and the minor, and sometimes not so minor, differences in their interfaces, it will be interesting to give these rather generic tips and tricks a go with multiple devices and see if they help or confuse. Int the mean time I may just scan through it all just to make sure there’s nothing new for me to learn!

Do you thin this would be a good resource to send to the more technically challenged Android users in your life? Let us know below.
