Google adds more sports related illustrations to Calendar

Google Calendar
Google is sprucing up their Calendar illustrations even more from today, announcing the addition of 22 new sports related pictures that will grace your entries if they match your sports.

Google added illustrations to Calendar in November 2014, and has been adding more in as requried. With the Olympics starting this week, there’s a timely update with Google adding a number of sports including Fencing, Rowing, Karate, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Rythmic Gymnastics and Golf.

You shouldn’t need to do anything to get the new illustrations but they’re not quite showing up in the Schedule view yet, still if you’ve got a regular Karate Practice session you can now get an illustration to match.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
