If you love tables and spreadsheets, then this latest update to the Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides for Android apps should be a good one for you.

In the latest update the if you copy cells from Sheets over to Docs or Slides, you get a fully rendered table with cells and everything copied straight into your Google Doc or Slides presentation. It’s limited to 400 cells as a maximum, with anything larger appearing in a tab-separated format.

There’s one small update that Google have noted, in the behind the scenes technology powering sheets, with Google advising:

We’ve also made improvements to the technology that powers charts in Sheets, so you may notice small changes to the way your charts are drawn.

The update requires all three apps to update, so head over to Google Play and grab the updates as they appear.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
