Australian online Google Store now out of stock of Nexus 6P – bring on the Pixel XL

Been thinking about buying a Nexus 6P from the Google Store? Sorry, you’re out of luck with the Australian online Google Store showing the phone as ‘Coming Soon’.

The smaller Nexus 5X is still in stock in all configurations, but the Nexus 6P is out in all configs. It’s a timely milestone in the Google hardware push with the Pixel/Pixel XL announcement just days away.

While the Google Store doesn’t mean it’s impossible to get a Nexus 6P, instead you can still pick up a bargain from various retailers both online and off:

And of course if you want to go further afield you can find even more bargains on eBay and more. If you’re not looking forward to the more premium pricing expected for the new Pixel phones, the Nexus 6P is a very solid phone for these prices.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.

Yeah, it’s been the case for a while now. I was watching the price and they never budged from an $899 starting price.
