Netflix VR Available On The Play Store Now

Yesterday we reported that Google had announced new apps for Daydream VR, including Netflix VR. At the time there was no word on just when it would be available, just “later this month”. Well it seems that “later this month” means a day or 2 on some people’s language.

Today the Netflix VR app has dropped onto the Play Store and is available to download. The app allows you to:

Experience thousands of TV episodes and movies—including award-winning Netflix original series, movies, and documentaries—anytime, anywhere with your Netflix subscription.

How all these titles translate to VR remains to be seen but it is certainly worth checking out if you have a Netflix subscription. Head on over to the Play Store and check it out. Time for me to go and buy a Daydream View I suspect.

Looks like they just ported it across from the GearVR app.
