I'm not sure why the listed proxy for TPG Mobile is as it is; the host is located in Japan and doesn't seem to be up. GPRS doesn't work unless it's removed either.

For info I had to change the Telstra MMS authentication to "none" for MMS sending to be successful.

My Samsung Galaxy S2 was set up in store at the Telstra shop with authentication "none" and works fine. When I purchased a Galaxy Note and used the APN settings as listed above (CHAP authentication) it would not send MMSs 100% of the time. Changed authentication to "none" and works fine now.

I have been tearing my hair out trying to transfer my Dodo prepaid broadband mobile internet from my laptop to my Lenovo thinkpad tablet using the settings provided by Dodo. I used your method and mixed things up and replaced the APN type from "Static" to "default" and it now works - thank you - Lyn

I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus (via Virgin Mobile) with ICS and have not been able to send or receive MMS from day one, and it has now been 4 weeks. The tech support team keeps sending me to the APNs on the virgin site - which are the same as the one above - and I have manually entered the APN several times but to no avail. The internet is slow and painful, not what I expected at all. Does anyone have any idea what the problem maybe as the virginmobile tech team are clueless, and I'm being polite.

I didn't realise but I'm not sure I've been downloading apps from Android Market on my android mobile and I have been charged. Im with Amaysim I'm not sure if I'm on a data plan or not. I have a friend who has an iphone on prepaid and he uses the 3g internet constantly. Does it mean he is paying for it because he said he's not.

Hi, might be the network as my mms doesn't seem to be working at the moment either. Not sure how long it's been like it as I don't send many but just went to and won't send. I have had it happen before, then all of a sudden they'll be up and going again.

HI. I'm with Virgin. my mms and internet was working just fine until wednesday 18/01. Internet continues to work but mms stopped. I tried resetting APSs as above to no avail. Called the Phillipines or wherever for customer support and all I ended up with was several annoying sms messages telling me to prepare for more messages. I usually only have data network activated when i want to go online (to avoid annoying words with friends updates) and this has not been a problem in the past. I've now discovered that I can only send/receive mms as long as I have data network activated. Has this always been the case? Must I have data network connected at all times if I want to send/receive mms? Can anyone help please?
