Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 released in China

It was just last month we saw the first hints of a successor to the Galaxy Beam, and now the followup has now launched in China . The Samsung Galaxy Beam 2 includes a 'built-in professional-level mini-projector', which Samsung has listed as supporting only WVGA (480x800) resolution. The projector is an update from the original Galaxy Beam which supported only an nHD (640x360) projector. How many lumens the projector will support isn't listed unfortunately, but the previous model was quite low power and needed a fairly dark environment to have much of an effect. The Galaxy S5 Zoom is now being called the Samsung Galaxy K, or at least it will be when it launches on the 29th of April at an event in Singapore. There's been two leaks regarding the LG G3 overnight, the first of which shows off the new LG UI and the second is from a User Agent Profile (UAProf) for a version of the LG G3 destined for US Carrier Sprint. Samsung exec says the Galaxy Note 4 will feature a new form factor; confirms Android Wear device in development

With the global launch of the Galaxy S5 this month, the rumour mill is now turning its attention to the next big smartphone - or phablet - Samsung is expected to announce later this year, the fourth Galaxy Note. Samsung confirms 20 devices are compatible with Gear 2 series smartwatches

Samsung last week confirmed that 20 Samsung Galaxy devices are compatible with their recently-launched Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit smartwatches. Unlike last year's Galaxy Gear, which only worked with the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition, there's now 12 compatable smartphones and 8 tablets. Nexus 8 rumours persist with latest speculation pointing to a HTC built tablet

Rumours surrounding a HTC built Nexus 8 being released this year in place of a third generation Nexus 7 are continuing to mount, with Digitimes reporting that Google has approached the Taiwanese manufacturer to build an 8" tablet to be released in the coming months.
