Android 4.3 Update coming soon for Galaxy S III, S 4 and Note II

Reports from SamMobile suggest that three of the biggest Samsung devices of the last 18 months will be receiving Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates in a matter of weeks. HD Voice update for Vodafone branded Galaxy Note II now available via Kies

The latest Vodafone Software update Blog advises that Galaxy Note II owners will finally be able to use the HD Voice feature that was rolled out to the Vodafone network began trialling back in June. While some customers have been able to use this update on their modified Galaxy Note II by changing the build prop, official support has just arrived. Possible Android 4.4 Messaging and Phone App screenshots surface

Our first look at Android 4.4 came after a Nexus 5 running a supposed build of Android 4.4 was photographed and video'd after being left in a bar, now 9to5Google have received some screenshots of what appears to be updated Message and Phone Apps. Possible Android 4.4 screenshots added to Google Korean IME app in Google Play

The above screenshot was taken from the Google Play listing for the Google Korean IME, the Korean Keyboard supplied by Google. While the screenshot appears to have been removed now, it does show some interesting things, one of which actually marries up with at least one suggested inclusion from a leak that could be a list of Kit Kat specs. Nestlé Germany Facebook page points to October release

Apparently the relationship between Google and Nestlé is pretty tight, with the German arm of the Swiss based multinational food and beverage company advising a Facebook fan of their page that the release for Android 4.4 is expected in October. The response - 'Hi Tim, Android 4.4 KIT KAT ist ab Oktober verfügbar.' Translates to - 'Hi Tim, Android 4.4 KIT KAT is available in October'. Minor Nexus 7 (2013) update starting to roll out, could possibly fix multi touch issue?

Reports are coming in, that an update for the Nexus 7 (2013) is beginning to roll out to the new tablet, which is believed to possibly fix the multi-touch issue some people have been reporting with their new tablet device. The update, JSS15R, doesn't appear to have any user-facing changes, and it's only one letter away from the last minor update which rolled out shortly after the initial launch back in June which addressed initial multi-touch issues as well as GPS issues. Telstra pushing Android 4.2.2 to HTC One XL and Xperia Z over the air

HTC One XL and Xperia Z owners will have been seeing an update to Android 4.2.2 on their phone over the last couple of weeks. Google announces Android 4.4 will be KitKat

Google has this morning announced that the next version of Android will be version 4.4 and in keeping with their confectionery themed naming convention it will be called KitKat. Optus and the software update process.

Last year at Ausdroid we took the opportunity to approach our three major telecommunications companies - Telstra, Vodafone and Optus - about their software update processes. Android 4.3 leaks for HTC One; download custom ROM now

It seems that HTC are getting ready to release Android 4.3 for their top-of-the-line smartphone, with developer LlabTooFeR teasing a leaked build earlier today. The update brings Android 4.3's new features such as Bluetooth 4.0 LE support, OpenGL ES 3.0 and WiFi scanning for improved location services. HTC are said to have updated some of their own applications, as well as the system fonts and app drawer. Updated factory images for Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, 7, 7 (2013) and 10 now available

It's updates galore for the current line of Nexus devices.
