How to root the HTC One XL (generic / Telstra)

After reviewing the HTC One XL, I decided that I may as well root it seeing as though there's currently no way to unlock the bootloader officially and unofficially. It was actually one of the easiest phones to root -- at least it was for me. Just download the needed files, follow the instructions, and you're done! This process works Continue reading...

HTC has upped its game from the One X to the LTE-enabled One XL and it's worth every cent. The HTC One XL isn't a design we've never seen before; it's the HTC One X with a few tweaks. Well, by "tweaks", we mean some pretty awesome under-the-hood changes. It picks up where the One X left off, but has Continue reading...

Huawei Vision — Review

Looks aren`t always everything, but sometimes they`re enough I`ve been getting to this for nearly 5 months, but I've finally gotten here. Android "hacker" extraordinaire, Chainfire, has already rooted the Samsung Galaxy S III, and it hasn't even launched yet. Chainfire said he couldn't release the insecure kernel he has that will allow root access, as it might be traced back to the helpful leaker. However, he did say that any serious developer could achieve the same thing in around 10 minutes Continue reading...

If you own a HTC One X and have experience irregular multitasking (ie. apps being killed when you switch to another app) you're not alone. The One X community is up-in-arms at HTC as to why it is happening and if there's a "fix" coming for it. The great team over at PC World Australia are reporting that Samsung Australia has sent out invites to the media for a launch event happening on May 31st. What might that event be for, you ask? One of the reasons specified previously by OEMs has been the fact that they don't receive access to the source code for the latest update until Google Continue reading...
