Samsung occasionally offers a few deals with their products and this time around it’s their phone-camera or camera-phone, the Samsung Galaxy K-Zoom which launched in Australia earlier this year. Samsung is offering customers who purchased the device between the 22nd of September and the 15th of November, $50 cash back. To qualify you simply have to purchase the handset from a participating Australian retail store in the window and then claim your cash back by heading to the Samsung promotions website. You will need a few things before heading there, you’ll need a copy of your original purchase receipt, the[Read More...]

Welcome to episode 123 of the Ausdroid podcast! This week we had a special appearance by Matt Booth to tell us all about his shiny new Moto 360 and get us jealous. Jason was having none of that though, having decided that Sony‘s new Smartwatch 3 would soon be his next Android Wear device, but a battle royale with Dan might loom in the future for the right to review it. Scott meanwhile seemed more interested in the rumours of the Nexus 6, and with good reason as recent leaks have started to reveal more about the new phone. With[Read More...]

Welcome to episode 119 of the Ausdroid podcast! This week’s podcast was graced with the presence of an extra voice, coming to us from the USA – Evan Blass, perhaps better known as @evleaks to the Internet at large. We managed to get past the language barrier and found we could all understand each other pretty well, then spent a while talking with Evan about his work and some rumoured upcoming devices. It seems that Samsung and Sony have new phones coming, and Motorola might have a NEXS device coming (hopefully you’ll all see what I did there). Evan suffers[Read More...]
