Motorola caused quite a stir this week when it announced the extremely good looking Moto 360 smartwatch. Instead, we’ve had to turn to unofficial channels to find out more. G For Games claims to have information from a Motorola source that says the Moto 360 will feature an OLED display, sapphire glass and magnetic induction wireless charging. While these details are still just rumour and speculation, it doesn’t seem all that[Read More...]

Rumour: Lenovo could possibly bring their phones to more markets including Australia

Lenovo first entered the smartphone market back in 2012, but it’s been a fairly limited release with the majority of their phones released in Asia. This strategy has been fairly successful so far with Lenovo currently the largest vendor of smartphones in Mainland China. But they’ve been looking to expand their market to western countries – as evidenced by their purchase of Motorola back in January – and Australia could be one of the markets they try to expand into. Last night Lenovo posted a picture of the Lenovo Vibe X smartphone to a number of their social media channels[Read More...]

Samsung Galaxy S5 to launch with fingerprint scanner on home button

Samsung Galaxy S5 to launch with fingerprint scanner on home button

Beyond Samsung, no one really knows what’s coming from their launch at MWC, but plenty are speculating, and that speculation includes the Galaxy S5. The rumours are coming thick and fast, but the latest — and supposedly ‘confirmed’ — rumour is that the Galaxy S5 will feature a fingerprint scanner integrated with the hardware home button. This might sound very similar to something that Apple did with the iPhone 5S, and you’d be forgiven for thinking so (because you’re right). There’s quite a bit of detail to this rumour, so let’s get into it. If there’s a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home[Read More...]
