HTC One Max headed for Optus

The recently launched HTC One Max looks like it will be coming to Optus, if their Google+ page is a good indicator. Optus has just posted a mini review of the One Max, indicating that an announcement for stocking the phone is looming. Optus adds the $99 LG Optimus L2 II Dual SIM to their pre-paid range

LG Australia in partnership with Optus has today advised that the LG Optimus L2 II Dual SIM will be available at retailers from today as a pre-paid device for just $99. Dual-Mode Galaxy S4 arriving in Optus stores later this week

The Dual-mode version of the Galaxy S4 was announced by Optus back in August, with a launch date of Mid-September, but we've yet to see any followup, but today Optus advised that the dual-mode version of the Galaxy S4 will be arriving in Optus stores later this week. Optus ending relationship with Woolworths Mobile – Woolworths investigating further options

Woolworths Mobile will no longer be able to sign up new customers to their Optus-supplied Mobile network as of tomorrow, with Optus advising that they are in the process of ending their relationship them. The Woolworths Mobile service launched in July 2011, and has been supplying customers with fairly decent plans after purchase of a $2 SIM Card. An Optus spokesperson advised that from the 1st of October, customers will no longer be able to purchase a Woolworths Mobile prepaid SIM. LG demonstrates the G2′s Optical Image Stabilisation

An extremely witty advertisement for LG's incoming new superphone, the G2, focuses on the camera's Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) feature. The G2's 13 MP autofocus snapper on the incorporates the feature, which damps the dreaded "shaky hands", and results in consistently sharper pictures. Optus launch their 4G Plus LTE Network

Optus has today announced that they have expanded their 4G Plus LTE Network to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide in a move that will enhance their existing 4G offerings. The new 4G plus network is an expansion of the trial TD-LTE network which was launched in Canberra earlier this year running on the 2300MHz network. The TD-LTE network allows for transmit/receive of data to occur on the same frequency but at different times as opposed to FD-LTE technology currenly used in other Australian 4G networks which uses a seperate channels for each. Sony Xperia Z Ultra coming to Optus, Harvey Norman, Dick Smith, Sony Stores

Although it's not Sony's newest device, the relatively new Xperia Z Ultra -- a larger Xperia Z -- will be launching here in Australia very, very soon.
