ISPOne calls in Administrators, cancels Telstra wholesale contracts

If you're on Aldi or Kogan pre-paid mobile, then chances are you're about to hear from your provider shortly. According to the Australian Financial Review, ISPOne has called in administrators and cancelled their contract to provide 3G Mobile services to the MVNO's from Telstra. This latest development follows this mornings decision by Kogan to stop offering 90 day or 365 day recharges on their service. ISPOne wholesale customers will remain connected at least till trial is over

Kogan and Aldi Mobile are among the 280,000 ISPOne wholesale customers who can rest easy, at least until the court case between Telstra and ISPOne over unpaid invoices has been sorted. The case between ISPOne and Telstra which on Monday, had the potential to end services for the customers of the telco wholesaler, was sent to mediation but after a protracted session which lasted into Wednesday night failed to produce a result, the Federal Court of Victoria has placed an injunction on Telstra from ending the service of ISPOnes customers until the case can be heard formally before the court... Telstra advise Android 4.2.2 update for HTC One will begin tomorrow

Telstra owners of the HTC One, get excited the long awaited Android 4.2.2 update for the HTC One is set to go live for your handsets tomorrow. Huawei announces the Ascend P2 for Telstra – Launching July 30

Hot on the heels of the launch of their other high end smartphone the Ascend P6, Huawei has today announced that their Category 4 LTE packing Ascend P2 smartphone will be available at the end of the month on the Telstra 4G network. Telstra partners with Samsung and HTC to introduce new customers to Android

Telstra have a world first on their hands, Android in Retail, which is an augmented reality setup in their retail stores which they've developed in partnership with Samsung and HTC. The augmented reality setup gives the potential client "super enhanced" 3D interactive graphics and animation to enable customers to learn about Android and the ecosystem. Telstra now rolling out Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S2

A month after Optus rolled out their Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S2, Telstra are beginning their rollout. The Jelly Bean update which was approved for deployment by Telstra on the 17th of May is now rolling out, with users reporting the update arriving as an Over The Air(OTA) update. The new firmware brings the device up to Android 4.1.2 with Firmware version I9100TDVLS3.
