Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 4G now available from Telstra

Telstra have today launched the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 4G onto their network following Optus's launch in December. The Note 10.1 4G starts off at $53/mo on Telstra's lowest tier plan which includes 1GB of data a month, all the way up to $108/mo for 15GB of data. Gizmodo Australia is reporting that the Sony Xperia Z will not only come to Telstra, but likely Vodafone and Optus as well, according to the man in charge of Sony Mobile Oceania, John Featherstone. Telstra today announced on their community forum something that many HTC One XL owners have been painfully waiting for. The Jelly Bean update was approved earlier today (Monday 24th December). Deployment is also scheduled to begin today at 4PM, so keep checking your phone for an update, or use our forced OTA update guide. Other countries have already seen the update rolled out. The 'tweener' device which was due to go on-sale on Boxing Day has come as an early Christmas present to those who were wanting to get the phone on the Telstra Network. Coles has released their latest upcoming catalogue which begins on Wednesday the 19th of December and goes through to Monday the 24th of December and inside is a pretty good deal, a Huawei MediaPad 7Lite with Telstra Elite mobile Wi-Fi bundled with 5GB of data for just $149. Once again, Telstra have provided an update on the status of their Android handset updates. It seems most devices with an impending update are set to receive them before the year's end.
