Toshiba has made tentative steps into the ChromeOS market, with the CB30 range of Chromebooks. In Australia we saw the Toshiba Chromebook CB35 and today at IFA, Toshiba has announced the successor, the Toshiba Chromebook 2 with a pretty decent spec bump to the original. The Internation Data Corporation (IDC) have released their report on Tablets in Australia, and it’s not a pretty sight for Android. IDC states that 15% of all tablets shipped in the last quarter of 2011 were running on Android. That’s 15% of 587,000: 88,050.
