While no specifics were mentioned it seems that the partnership has born fruit with a new deal being offered on the Vodafone branded ‘Smart 4 Mini’ phone. Vodafone is beginning to offer their ‘Smart’ line of Vodafone branded devices in Australia, beginning with their 3G enabled ‘Smart Tab 4 3G’. The tablet is a fairly mid-range device, which is now available on contract for as low as $45 per month, with a $3 per month tablet hardware repayment and 8GB of included data. Vodafone is putting the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edgeup for presale tomorrow, and there’s some bonuses on offer for those who pre-order. On the Galaxy Note 4, pricing starts at $10 a month on the $70 plan (over 24 months), up to $4 per month on the $100 plan. The Galaxy Note Edge starts at $18 a month on the $70 plan, dropping to $12 a month on the $100 plan. Vodafone and Spotify are set to enter into an exclusive partnership, the companies announced overnight. Specific details of the arrangement weren’t announced, with ink still drying on contracts last night but both companies are excited at the possibilities and plan to announce offers for both prepaid and postpaid customers in the next few weeks, promising “game changing”, unrivalled offers. A Spotify Premium subscription currently costs $12 per month.
