Vodafone has announced on their blog that the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Sensation, Sensation XE and Sensation XL is going to be rolling out to handsets from the 22nd of May which will take the handsets from Android 2.3.4 for the Sensation and Sensation XE and 2.3.5 for the Sensation XL to Android 4.0.3.

Roll-out scheduled for 12:00PM, 22nd May 2012; keep an eye on our blog for further information.

Good to see this handset finally get the update, it seems it’s pouring for updates for fairly recent handsets at the moment. I can’t wait to see the developer console from Google next month to see how far they’ve gotten above the 4.9% from last month .

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.

Once again it’s a simple case, similar to the Galaxy Note release by Telstra, the Moto Xoom and will be the same with the release of the Galaxy SG111 by Telstra, they struggle getting thee Bloatware act together which holds up the release of the units.

Hang your head in shame Telstra… Vodafail beat you to the punch… Pathetic, it really is..

Telstra is usually the slowest (although that may be because they generally want to have their own model that is barely different).
