Motorola delays Ice Cream Sandwich update for Motorola Razr

It’s been a pretty big morning for news on Ice Cream Sandwich updates from Motorola, unfortunately there isn’t much in the way of good news from them. They’ve advised via their Facebook Page that the ICS Upgrade has been delayed and won`t be delivered in Q2, the full statement :

For those fans asking about RAZR, we have had a delay in the ICS update for RAZR which means that we will be unable to deliver this upgrade in Q2 as planned. We are continuing to work through the issues and will update you when we have further details. Thanks

For a company that’s now owned by Google this isn’t the best start, but bear in mind the Razr came out before Google owned them, we’ll post any further updates from Motorola as soon as they appear.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
