The ISS Detector App is having a bit of a sale at the moment, the app itself is free but has in-app purchases which :

  • Donation / Remove ads: €1.00, ~$1.40
  • Radio Amateur Satellites/ Remove ads: €1.50, ~$2.00
  • Famous Objects / Remove ads: €1.50, ~$2.00

The Radio Amateur Satellite extension will enable ISS Detector to detect ham radio satellites and weather satellites whilst the Famous Objects extension will enable ISS Detector to detect satellites, the Hubble Space Telescope, the Kepler space observatory and the X-37B.

For a free app why not try out Lasoo personally I’m a junk mail fanatic I actually love it but I hate the amount of paper it uses and would prefer it came like this, in electronic form. It has most of your major retailers like Target, BigW, Coles, Dick Smith and heaps more, so give it a go and maybe you can put a ‘No Junk Mail’ sign on your letterbox and save a few trees.

The Indie Gala still has 2 Days to go, for as little as $1 you can get Ichi, Battle Group and The Lost Souls and remember if you pay over the average price which currently stands at $3.99 you will then get Xelorians, Call of Cthulhu: Wasted Land and Little Stars for Little Wars 2 as well as PC Games Tiny Plumbers, Spin Deluxe and Cute Things D. V. so check out the Indie Gala website

If you know of a good app you’d like to share or see an app on sale that you feel is a good deal, let me know by tweeting me or emailing me

i’m not a tree person, but $16 for the bonsai tree app seems a bit steep, or is it essentially an ebook?
