Square Enix released Final Fantasy III for Android a month ago and at $16.99 it’s a pretty expensive option, I’m personally waiting for it to go on-sale before I dive down that rabbit hole, but in the meantime they have just released the original Final Fantasy onto the Google Play store. This one is priced at only $6.70 so you may want to try this one out. The original game was released in 1987 so this is still a premium price for a game pushing 25 years old but Final Fantasy fans will definitely want to jump on this one.

The remake of the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic Total Recall is about to hit cinemas in just over 2 weeks and the official movie tie-in game has just been released by Jump Games who also did the movie tie-in for the Hugh Jackman movie Real Steel. The Total Recall game is $0.99 in the Google Play store, no mention of Mars in this version of the game/movie but you play as Douglas Quaid in a 3D setting fighting your way through New-Asia to the Center of the Earth. Sounds exciting anyway.

Perhaps to celebrate the fact that Jelly Bean images for Nexus Devices have just hit the Google Developer page, the Jelly Belly Candy Co. has released their official live wallpaper app for Android onto the Google Play store, the Jelly Belly Jelly Beans Jar wallpaper doesn’t require Jelly Bean(Android 4.1) you can get your sugary fix as far back as Eclair(Android 2.1) it weighs in at 3.8MB and allows you to move the beans around on your screen and flick them around. Give it a go, it could be a lot of fun.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
