Earlier today we saw the HTC One X+ appear on the HTC Australia Website. It looks like that appearance may have been a little premature as it has now been removed with the page now displaying a message advising that ‘Sorry, the page you’re looking for can’t be found.’ The cached page can be seen here.

We also were told this afternoon by HTC whose official statement was

The HTC One X + was announced globally on 3 October 2012. However, HTC cannot comment on unreleased products in the Australian market

Looks like they definitely jumped the gun on this one. Whether that means it should not have been on there in the first place due to the phone not being released on the Australian market or if the phone is going to be launched here a little further down the track and the page was just made live before the appropriate time.

Dan is a die-hard Android fan. Some might even call him a lunatic. He's been an Android user since Android was a thing, and if there's a phone that's run Android, chances are he owns it (his Nexus collection is second-to-none) or has used it.

Dan's dedication to Ausdroid is without question, and he has represented us at some of the biggest international events in our industry including Google I/O, Mobile World Congress, CES and IFA.
