Kudos for introducing me to this app go to Adam from last nights podcast(Spoiler Alert!). It’s the RedLaser Barcode & QR Scanner. From eBay the app is designed to let you scan the barcode or QR Code on a product which then scans the internet for reviews and pricing. I’m constantly doing this in-store whilst shopping but I haven’t tried scanning barcodes yet so I’ll be giving this a full try out today.

The app is available on Android devices running Donut(1.6) and upwards, it is 3.1MB to download and it’s free to install.

Found a good deal on an app you’d like to share? Are you an Australian developer with an app you would like reviewed? Or have you found a most expensive app on the Play Store? Let me know! You can tweet me or email me.

Is NFS Shift worth getting? It’s got some iffy feedback in the Play Store about people being unable to download the files… I’ve already got Asphalt 6 which is pretty good, and Asphalt 7 is only $0.99 with much better feedback than NFS. What do people think?
