A week ago, entries closed in our Motorola RAZR M ™ competition. We asked you to tell us, in 25 words or less, what made you faster, smarter or stronger, and boy oh boy did we receive a tonne of entries — just under 600 in fact.

The team and I have been flat chat reviewing entries, posting news and doing general Ausdroid things, so unfortunately it’s taken us a little while to get to this point, but here we go.

First prize has been awarded to Alex D. of New South Wales, for his entry:

Not allowing my disABILITY stopping me from being who I am and showcasing what I can do instead of what I can’t.

Congratulations Alex, enjoy your new RAZR M ™ thanks to Motorola, and of course, us!

Three runner up prizes were awarded as follows:

  • Lim S, of New South Wales, with his entry:

4G horsepower, Android + Smartactions and military grade kevlar.

  • Terri D., of South Australia, with her entry:

My wheelchair makes me faster than anyone, face me down a hill and watch me go!

  • Simon L. of the Australian Capital Territory, with his entry:

My 3 year old Labrador! Faster, by chasing him down the street. Smarter, by learning to shut the gate. Stronger, by dragging him home!

Congratulations guys, your Motorola Android figurines will be sent out by Motorola soon!

Don’t be disappointed if you didn’t win. Why not? Well, Ausdroid is well placed to continue the competitions a bit more regularly now. We’ve got the Fanny Wang headphones competition which closes today, and in the new year, we’re likely to have even more phone giveaways, along with other new competition ideas, like having your phone bill paid for a month, gift card giveaways and other things, so stay tuned with Ausdroid in 2013 and you too could be a winner!

Thanks: Everyone who entered :).
