Got myself a Fitbit Aria Scale for Christmas, good time to be reminded that you’ve over-indulged over the Christmas break and Fitbit have an app available which I’ve been using the Fitbit Activity Tracker. The app also works with other Fitbit devices like the Zip or One which I am looking at purchasing to complement the Aria. The app lets you log your daily intake of food/water and activities and constantly reminds you of the weight you just logged on your scale.

The app itself is fairly good it allows for a fair amount of customisation for localising data units into metric or imperial. The app has an action bar which includes the menu button so that in itself is fairly impressive. Available for all devices running Android 2.1 and upwards it’s a 2.0MB download but you’ll need a data connection to take advantage of the data sync. It’s probably a good idea if you’re thinking of setting yourself a New Years weight loss or maintenance goal, try it out.

Found a good deal on an app you’d like to share? Are you an Australian developer with an app you would like reviewed? Or have you found a most expensive app on the Play Store? Let me know! You can tweet me or email me.
