There seems to be a retro theme lately with Lode Runner hitting the Play store the other day, now Galaga Special Edition Free hitting the Google Play Store as well. It’s all the fun you remember but with new graphics, weapons and powerups. The game is free but annoyingly I had some ads appear during the level which was annoying, if this were $0.99 with no advertising I’d pay it. It’s 25 levels of fun so give it a go and see what you think.

Available from Namco Networks in the Play store for devices running Android 2.0 and upwards, it’s a 35MB app so it’s not the slimmest of applications but worth a try anyway.

Found a good deal on an app you’d like to share? Are you an Australian developer with an app you would like reviewed? Or have you found a most expensive app on the Play Store? Let me know! You can tweet me or email me.
