I have recently started to really hate on the new My Tracks update so I wanted to check out what other apps are out there to track my jogging. So far I’ve tried Runtastic – Which isn’t bad but is $5.49 but has nice interface and Google+ sharing which is great but a finicky mechanism to get GPS, I tried Runkeeper both before and after yesterdays Holo design refresh, the new interface is nice but the voice prompts are awful and speak over the top of podcasts. Now I’m looking for other to try, on my list to try so far are Endomondo which is $4.99 but has a free version and also MapMyRun GPS Running which is a free app but I’m looking for more suggestions, which is where I hand over to you guys. What Apps do you use or recommend I try to map my running?

Found a good deal on an app you’d like to share? Are you an Australian developer with an app you would like reviewed? Or have you found a most expensive app on the Play Store? Let me know! You can tweet me or email me.

RK has some nice integration features with other applications and becomes a better ‘healthy lifestyle’ app than the rest. I also had Endomondo from the $0.10 so I’ve started using this again and I prefer the interface to RK at the moment. But I keep going back to My Tracks as both RK and… Read more »

I don’t do a whole lot of exercise, but I got Endomondo Pro during the 10c sale ages back and I’ve been pretty happy with it. Mind you I’ve only used it for walking, so I wouldn’t have the greatest clue on its capabilities.
